 New Day Church is ideally situated to address the needs of people all over the Bay Area. God has placed us here with an unselfish purpose. Our mission is to know Jesus Christ and make Him known as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. We know our strength is not in human wisdom or power. Our strength is in the Lord. He's given us a divine purpose, faithful and compassionate people, and the power of the Holy Spirit to do mighty things for His glory. We pray that every person who visits us will have a special encounter with God, experience the truth of His Word, and witness His unconditional love in our New Day Church family.

 Our youth ministry is redeveloping under the "knock-out" leadership of Evelyn Hirsch, with over 30 years of experience in youth and children's ministry. A fresh team of leaders have stepped forward for the challenge and are excited about becoming a vital instrument of God in our community.  During Pastor Ron's journey as a youth minister in Hawaii, Colorado, and California he developed a passion for helping young people discover their God-given creative potenial especially in music. One area in particular where he has made a difference is in helping people of all ages learn the skill of using the guitar to accompany vocals. He encourages students to be patient and persistent in learning and know that the rewards of enjoyment will follow. Pastor Ron began playing the 12-string and Classical guitar in 1966 and has never taken formal lessons. He claims the most economic way to learn the guitar is to just "pick at it." He has written more than 200 songs for all occasions some of which are used in our New Day Church worship services.

 Daly City is the sister City of Quezon City in the Philippines. One of our members worked at the Old Balara Elementary School in Quezon City for ten years and inspired us to help provide office and school supplies for the poorest of the poor. We've expanded our efforts to include food, clothing and sports equipment. Since its beginning in September 2008 Operation Pinoy Konek has shipped twelve boxes. This growing ministry has formed to bring special services to both our church family and local community. Currently the following special program is being offered:
1) SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT THE MOVIES
Every last Sunday of the month at 1and 3PM a heart-warming movie is shown in suite 232 and is open to the public. Meanwhile an entertaining movie is presented in Suite 231 for the children. The suggested donation for age 12 and up is only $2.
A low-priced snack bar is open during the movie offering hotdogs, chips, soda, popcorn, candy, and numerous other snacks. You are invited to come.
Some recent showing have been "Flywheel," "Facing the Giants," "Fireproof," "Hoodwinked," "Bolt," and numerous others.
Do you desire to use your acting talent for the glory of God. This ministry at New Day Church involves short skits, playwriting, live dramas, reader's theater and others stage talents.
